FINAL CHALLENGES

Since 2013, the WorldMUN program has been shaping fellows in rhetoric, group dynamics, and negotiation. Our goal is to empower students to discover their individual value-based leadership styles through practice opportunities while emphasising the practical application of politics and diplomacy on a global stage.
Over five months of intensive training, our fellows acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to excel, which they can put into practice at renowned events like LIMUN and Harvard WorldMUN in Manila. In preparation for these conferences, we will grant valuable political insights into the Philippines’ current political situation and global diplomacy.
For the first time in 2015, and continually since 2018, be.boosted has expanded to two programs. Like the WorldMUN program, the LIMUN program aims to empower students, allowing them to discover their individual value-based leadership style.

Through five months of rigorous training in rhetorics, group dynamics, and negotiation, our fellows develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel, which they can practice at the LIMUN conference.

Beyond MUN, Team LIMUN’s specific focus is ‘boosting.others’. Therefore, the fellowship culminates in a workshop challenge, where our fellows put their acquired skills into practice by designing and running workshops in cooperation with a social enterprise.

Please note: The content and schedule of the calls listed above are preliminary.
They may be subject to change throughout the course of the fellowship.

Boosting.Others

9. April - 12. April (location tbd)

For Team LIMUN, the journey doesn’t end with MUNing: In our final challenge, you will be given the opportunity to step into the role of a Trainer. In small groups, you‘ll work together to devise your workshops on public speaking and negotiation, drawing on the skills and knowledge acquired during your fellowship. In cooperation with partnering social enterprises, you’ll then deliver your workshops. We aim for the workshops to reach individuals for whom participation in "traditional“ leadership programs is, for whichever reason, infeasible. Through the boosting.others challenge, you’ll not only deepen your own learning experience. More importantly, you‘ll actively contribute to making training in crucial skills like public speaking and negotiation accessible to a wider audience.

Team WorldMUN Trainers

Team LIMUN Trainers

Benjamin Budt

Ben is thrilled to continue his be.boosted journey as a WorldMUN 2026 trainer. Currently, he studies law in Berlin. As a 2025 WorldMUN Fellow last year, he experienced the magic of be.boosted first-hand. Now, as a trainer, he wants to build an inclusive space where fellows can grow, reflect, and thrive. He will push the fellows to lead inclusively and he will have their backs just as firmly when things get tough. For him, be.boosted means to grow and to do it together.

Fiona Dierksen

Fiona, is one of this year’s WorldMUN trainers! She lives in Berlin and studies medicine in Göttingen, and whenever she is not in the library, you’ll probably find her on a plane, a train, or deep in conversation about what really matters to people. Last year, as a fellow, she found that the be.boosted community is like a passport—you don’t just meet new people, you step into their worlds. This year, as a trainer, Fiona wants to create that same space for our fellows: a place to experiment, to fail and laugh about it, to turn challenges into strengths, to discover your own style of leadership and to build a team. A team that inspires each other and is always up for a spontaneous phone call when needed.

David Obermeier

David first joined the be.boosted community as a WorldMUN fellow last year, and he is more than excited to continue this journey now as a trainer. Originally from Dortmund, he is currently studying medicine in Heidelberg. One of his main passions has always been exploring team dynamics and finding ways to empower others while building inclusive spaces.
As a fellow, he learned how powerful it is when people lift each other up and lead with empathy. Now, as a trainer, hs is here to help our fellows empower one another, master team dynamics, and create spaces where every voice matters. And when the work is done, you’ll probably catch him and his wonderful co-trainers on the dance floor – because great teams know how to celebrate together, too.

Matvey Sivachinksi

Matvey was part of Team LIMUN 2025 and now continues his be.boosted journey as a LIMUIN trainer. He is pursuing his master’s degree in computer science in Potsdam, with a strong focus on digital health and longevity. Matvey decided to become a trainer to enable others, fostering a space where people feel comfortable with the uncomfortable and take the time to critically reflect—something that is often rare in everyday life. For him, be.boosted is all about growth and becoming the leaders we envision ourselves to be. Outside of his professional life, Matvey enjoys staying active; while he admits to lacking natural talent in team sports, he more than makes up for it with motivation. He is also a gamer at heart and a bit of a podcast enthusiast.

Natalia Parley

Natalia began her journey with be.boosted as a fellow in the Team Young Professionals 2025. As a trainer for Team LIMUN 2026, she is committed to fostering an environment of growth, creativity, and self-reflection. A passionate community builder, she thrives on facilitating exchange and sharing practical insights.
Trained as an Organisational Psychologist, Natalia brings extensive experience from her work in international corporations and NGOs. In her current role as People & Impact Manager for a nonprofit, she focuses on advancing political innovation in Germany. Outside of work, you can find her training for hours in a dance studio, hunting for new books, or singing her heart out at a karaoke bar.

Why is there a participation fee for the fellowship?

be.boosted operates as a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit initiative led by students. No one at be.boosted receives compensation for their contributions. Our program’s funding primarily stems from generous sponsors, voluntary donations, and, to a lesser extent, contributions from participation fees and collaborative fundraising efforts by fellows.

The expenses associated with the program are primarily derived from three sources: (1) reimbursement of travel costs for fellows and trainers during the fellowship, (2) fees for participation at LIMUN and WorldMUN & (3) accommodation, material, and venue expenses.

Should you require more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team and we will provide you with all details based on the experience of our past fellows. In case of financial hardship, do not hesitate to contact our team either. We will do our best to make our programme available to you irrespective of your financial background.
