What do you think eMUN-fellows.net delegates do, just one week before Harvard World MUN 2014? Right, they organise microMUNich to share their passion with a handpicked and highly motivated group of students.
The weekend was fully packed for the students that came from all over Germany to gather in Munich. Friday night started with an introduction to the important, but maybe at times also confusing Rules of Procedure, which was followed by workshop on Harvard Style Negotiating and Efficient Communication. All delegates had the chance to try out different styles of negotiations in small role plays, and thereby as well getting to know each other better. Finally, Friday night ended with Indian dinner, local Munich bars and not too much sleep.

On Saturday, the emun-fellows.net delegation used its final chance to experience a real MUN debate before heading to Brussels. The delegates were, first time ever, not only representing important countries, but as well important institutions from education and economy and discussed the important topic of “The Future of Work”. Heated discussions and amazing speeches finally led to a Draft Resolution by all. “Even though it was more the competitive than expected, it was a great and fun experience I learned a lot from”, is how most delegates described their microMUN debate afterwards.
