Then, all candidates were sent out to their first station of the special Recruiting Day rotating system that would put each group through the already mentioned four group assessments as well as a slot for personal interviews.
No matter if the groups had to ‘build a bridge’ or develop and pitch a business idea in their group assesments, all tasks were fulfilled with full engagement and physical strength resulting in heated discussions and even human pyramids. Even during breaks and lunch, all candidates mingled with their fellow applicants as well as the representatives of our partners exchanging stories from past experiences and experiences just gained during one of the Recruiting Day sessions.
At the end of the day, be.boosted co-founder Rima-Maria Rahal found the right words when she said “wow, last year this time I would have never thought that we would stand here at this point. We have managed to built something pretty big and it’s going to be super difficult to narrow all these amazing candidates down to the final delegation going to WorldMUN.”
And she was right. The night continued with hours of discussions about impressions of candidates, performances in interviews as well as group assessments and seemingly endless evaluation sheets. But we did it. We selected our delegation of Future Global Leaders for Harvard World Model United Nations 2015 in Seoul, South Korea. And we can’t wait for you to get to know them soon. Stay tuned!
