Having built leadership skills and having had the opportunity to network, let us now add two more components to our journey: After lunch, we finally opened the doors to the committee sessions and individual coaching went into the second round. Coaches and coachees, who had met online before the conference continued to explore characters and set goals for the conference in private sessions. In substantial debate delegates found bright words to enlighten the importance of sustainability and coffee breaks were used to form strategic alliances. To push the debate to a next level and underline the importance of sustainable growth in our world, Edward Silva (University of California/Henlight), Dr. Christian Neuhaus (Futureaffairs Berlin) and Dr. Edgar Göll (University of Graz) joined us for our online expert panel on Saturday evening. What has been done, what needs to be done and what will be done in the field of sustainable growth? With new perspectives after the panel, delegates enjoyed themselves at the sandy beach of our conference venue right at the Spree. You know it is time to drop the committee roles, when the chair himself, wrapped in a rain cape, heats up the barbecue and prepares finest meat and vegetables for everyone – on our journey, we grab a beer, turn the music up and connect to the characters behind the committee masks.
