FINAL CHALLENGES

Since 2013, the WorldMUN program has been shaping fellows in rhetoric, group dynamics, and negotiation. Our goal is to empower students to discover their individual value-based leadership styles through practice opportunities while emphasising the practical application of politics and diplomacy on a global stage.
Over five months of intensive training, our fellows acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to excel, which they can put into practice at renowned events like LIMUN and Harvard WorldMUN in Manila. In preparation for these conferences, we will grant valuable political insights into the Philippines’ current political situation and global diplomacy.
For the first time in 2015, and continually since 2018, be.boosted has expanded to two programs. Like the WorldMUN program, the LIMUN program aims to empower students, allowing them to discover their individual value-based leadership style.

Through five months of rigorous training in rhetorics, group dynamics, and negotiation, our fellows develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel, which they can practice at the LIMUN conference.

Beyond MUN, Team LIMUN’s specific focus is ‘boosting.others’. Therefore, the fellowship culminates in a workshop challenge, where our fellows put their acquired skills into practice by designing and running workshops in cooperation with a social enterprise.

Please note: The content and schedule of the calls listed above are preliminary.
They may be subject to change throughout the course of the fellowship.

Team WorldMUN Trainers

Team LIMUN Trainers

Hannah Brügmann

Hannah was a fellow of the WorldMUN 2023 team. After completing her studies in Münster, Paris, Wroclaw, Addis Ababa and Ghent, she will start as a trainee in the human rights section of the EU Delegation in Geneva this September. Over the past few months, Hannah has been conducting research, combining her passion for learning from different regions with her interest in women's rights.
As a trainer, Hannah aims to pass on her practical experience in international politics during the fellowship. Outside of her professional life, Hannah likes to stay active and is always up for a game - be it Dobble, Spikeball or Ninja.

Jakob Maier

Jakob is an energetic people-person who was part of Team LIMUN 2023. After a year as head of Recruiting, his be.boosted journey brings him back to the fellowship. As trainer of Team Manila 2025, he is eager to integrate new fellows into his favorite community while making them exceptional speakers, top notch negotiators, and inclusive leaders.
Based in Paris, Jakob is pursuing his PhD in artificial intelligence with a focus on network data. Aside from complex problems, he loves climbing, dancing, and foreign languages. If he could remove three things from this world, it would be cars, populism and gender inequality.

Carla Posch

Carla was part of Team WorldMUN 2023. With a bachelor’s degree in European Studies and a master’s in Law and Politics of International Security, she is now the Regional Representative to Southern Germany at an NGO. Having lived and studied in four different countries, Carla is looking forward to supporting this year’s fellows on the international stages of LIMUN and WorldMUN while providing a safe space for them to leave their comfort zones, practice new skills, and become leaders in their own right. She is especially passionate about human rights, youth participation, and empathetic leadership.

Barbora Bromová

Barbora was part of Team LIMUN 2024, joining as trainer to further develop the fellowship as a space for critical reflection and responsible leadership training. She started her academic career studying social sciences in Amsterdam and continued to take on digital technology in Paris. Alongside her studies, she has worked for local non-profits and international organisations – including the United Nations – to improve AI literacy, innovate public sector processes, and promote digital inclusion in international development. She looks forward to helping fellows find and gain confidence in their unique leadership style and value system.

Andeas Schröter

Andreas was a part of Team WorldMUN 2023. He studies medicine in Hannover and previously spent a year at Harvard Medical School researching for his doctoral thesis. After stops in South Africa and Japan, he is currently completing his final year of medical school in Zurich. As a trainer, he aims to create a fellowship that encourages fellows to step out of their comfort zone and expand their skills in public speaking and workshop giving. For this, he believes that excellent communication skills in combination with both the ability to give and receive feedback are key to success. Outside of be.boosted, he enjoys playing the piano and is an avid tennis player.

Maximilian Stein

Max was part of Team LIMUN 2024 and continues the fellowship as a trainer this year to eagerly provide a comprehensive learning journey and foster strong group dynamics for inclusive leaders. He studied economics in Potsdam and will continue his academic career further, focussing on his interest in quantitative and network economics in Paris. Parallel to his studies, he gained experience in financial as well as energy regulation in business environments and trade diplomacy in government and non-governmental structures. Drawing his fascination from the incomprehension, he is glad that nouvelle vague films and French late 20th century music are finally being seen as cool again.

Why is there a participation fee for the fellowship?

be.boosted operates as a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit initiative led by students. No one at be.boosted receives compensation for their contributions. Our program’s funding primarily stems from generous sponsors, voluntary donations, and, to a lesser extent, contributions from participation fees and collaborative fundraising efforts by fellows.

The expenses associated with the program are primarily derived from three sources: (1) reimbursement of travel costs for fellows and trainers during the fellowship, (2) fees for participation at LIMUN and WorldMUN & (3) accommodation, material, and venue expenses.

Should you require more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team and we will provide you with all details based on the experience of our past fellows. In case of financial hardship, do not hesitate to contact our team either. We will do our best to make our programme available to you irrespective of your financial background.
