How to Stay Involved

Young Professionals Trainers

Malena Rachals

Malena was part of the very first YP Fellowship of 2025 and is now returning as a trainer to share, support, and grow with this year’s team. With an MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from the LSE, she combines her academic knowledge with practical experience in European media and political organisations. Currently, she is part of the European Climate Initiative (GIZ), where she helps amplify the impact of transnational climate projects across Central and Eastern Europe.

What inspires her — in both her work and the fellowship — is building connections between different fields and cultures. Having lived in cities like London, Brussels, and Budapest, Malena knows how personal and professional growth emerge from new perspectives. She is passionate about creating a space where fellows can learn from each other, reflect openly, and take bold steps toward the kind of leadership they want to embody.

Outside of work, Malena loves visiting art exhibitions, hosting dinner parties, and running in nature — always with music or a good podcast in her ears.

Carlotta Borges

Carlotta was a WorldMUN fellow with Team Tokyo in 2020. Now she’s rejoining the be.boosted community, excited to bring her perspectives into the fellowship. She studied Political Science in Maastricht, Berlin and Rio de Janeiro and has added to her worldview through stays in Tanzania, Hungary, and Israel. These experiences have shaped her passion for global exchange, personal growth and working together across cultures. As a young professional, she enjoys supporting others in navigating the challenges and opportunities at the start of their careers. Outside of work, Carlotta can often be found exploring the city in search of the best coffee, powering through a spinning class or taking a relaxed walk with her dachshund Mila, ideally while planning her next adventure. She currently works at the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). Carlotta is excited to take on the challenge of guiding this year’s fellows and sharing her passion for collaboration and growth.
In her free time, however, she will either be out in the woods running or cozied up somewhere with a coffee in one hand and a good book in the other. Any book recommendations are always welcome!

Clara Lina Dziuron

Clara was a fellow of the be.boosted Young Professionals Team in 2025 and is excited to meet and support the new 2026 Team! Having gained experience in both private and public sector organizations, she is still at the beginning of her career and is passionate about sharing her journey while learning from others in an open and supportive environment.
With a background in Global Economics and Management as well as International Affairs, Clara has studied and lived in a range of international settings — from Bremen and Edinburgh to Geneva, Brussels, and Berlin — shaping her global perspective and deep curiosity about how societies and economies are interconnected.
She values meaningful conversations and strongly believes in the power of peer exchange to inspire both personal and professional growth. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her singing in a choir, spending time with friends, playing tennis, reading in a cozy café, or traveling across Europe by train in search of new places, people, and ideas.

Why is there a participation fee for the fellowship?

be.boosted operates as a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit initiative led by students and Young Professionals. No one at be.boosted receives compensation for their contributions. Our programme’s funding primarily stems from generous sponsors, voluntary donations, and, to a lesser extent, contributions from participation fees and collaborative fundraising efforts by fellows.

The expenses associated with the program are primarily derived from three sources: (1) reimbursement of Travel Costs for trainers, (2) material and venue expenses, and (3) accomodation.

Should you require more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team and we will provide you with all details based on the experience of our past fellows. In case of financial hardship, do not hesitate to contact our team. We are selecting participants on a needs-blind basis and will do our best to make our programme available to you irrespective of your financial background.
